If you like desserts like srikhand, you will love this srikhand flavoured overnight oats. I made it for three days and this recipe makes three portions.
Ingredients
- ⅔ cups oats
- 2 scooped vanilla protein powder
- 2 scoops PB powder
- 250g unsweetened soya yogurt
- 1 cup plant based milk – I use unsweetened pea or soya milk
- 3 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp melon seeds
- 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds and
- 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
- 2 tbsp hemp hearts
- 2 tbsp ground flaxseeds
- 1 pinch saffron strands
- Cardamom powder to taste
- Optional toppings: pomegranate seeds, nuts of your choice, other fruit
Method:
Mix all ingredients except for the toppings and store in the fridge overnight.
Serve with a choice of your toppings.
I usually also add a little milk in the morning to soften the consistency.
